This scrapbook contains articles from local newspapers for Bertie County servicemen during World War II.  This scrapbook was compiled by Amelia Perry (White) during 1941-1945.  The scrapbook was later donated to Lawrence Memorial Public Library.  We have scanned the book in order that you may have access to this scrapbook.  You may browse the index files and search for a particular individual (individuals are not grouped  in any particular order) or you can browse through the pages of  the scrapbook and view the newspaper clippings.
